Being a photographer is incredibly rewarding. Catching the emotion on a father's face as he sees his little girl on her wedding day. Seeing a child's amazement when they experience something for the first time. Knowing I've gotten the picture that captures the defining moment of the day is priceless. Our clients trust us to capture the moments of one of the most important days in their lives, and we love being an integral part of it. We love to have fun and enhance our clients day...to experience it with them and to make it better for them. We're more than just another vendor, we're an advocate for them. Many of our clients end up becoming friends. We've shared the joy of their wedding, and in many cases we can share in the joy of their first child, helping them capture those joyous moments in their families' history. We thank our clients for allowing us to be a part of their lives. We look forward to capturing many more of those "moments of joy" that brings tears to our clients eyes and a sense of satisfaction to us that a passion brings. The inherent unpredictibility is exciting for me. The exciting products we're able to offer our clients is astounding. It allows us to see everything around us. Without light, we'd see nothing. The magic of seeing an image slowly emerge from a piece of paper immersed in a chemical bath will never cease to amaze me. Granted, the days of the darkroom are pretty much a thing of the past. It's developed from a hobby to a passion. Ever since my parents gave me a Kodak brownie camera, the magic of photography has enthralled me.

Jack

Amsterdam

Quick trip to Amsterdam.  Our friend Dennis, who works for United, is going to be attending an intensive immersion Dutch language school in Amsterdam next month.  He wanted to check it out beforehand and I tagged along.  For moral support.  (I do what I can.) We walked around the city late at night and there…
