Sophia is six months old

We’re beginning to take more family and children’s portraits and are really enjoying it. Here are a couple of photos we took of baby Sophia, six months old and sweet as can be. We photographed Sophia using natural light and the results were terrific. Our clients are so thrilled to have large canvas-wrap portraits of their daughter in their family room. Sophia recognizes herself now in the portraits and likes to point and giggle at the images of herself. With young babies and children we’ve found it’s sometimes better to take the photographs at the clients’ home. It seems less stressful on the little ones and they’re more comfortable when they’re at home, which helps us capture natural expressions and personality. Thanks, little Sophia!
