Fall colors

Johnny and I are in Maine and New Hampshire visiting our friends Tim and Chris Riley and their families. Tim and Chris have their own photography studio in Maine, and we’re going to make this an annual event. Not coincidentally the leaves are changing and we’re going to catch as much of the fall foliage as we can.

The leaves have turned brilliant reds, oranges and yellows. Yesterday we drove to White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire and the colors were absolutely at their peak. The weather was cool, clear and brightly sunny. We couldn’t have timed it better, and we got some fantastic photographs.

sriram - The white mountain National park is a photographers paradise. The play of colours and textures is simply awesome. I was there a couple of years ago and had some really good photos. I am aching to get back there.
