We had a really fun engagement session with Beth & Joe today. They’re both Chicago Cubs fans, so to start we got a few shots of them in front of Wrigley Field. Unfortunately it was 33 degrees and windy. Not so nice for the beginning of April.
Then we headed to Beviamo Wine Bar, where Beth & Joe had gone on their first date, in Little Italy. The bar’s got a lot of ambiance and personality. Beth in particular really responded to the vibe and we got some great shots of her. The hipster setting was a great fit for them.
Afterwards, the four of us shared martinis at the bar and talked for hours about everything from how they met, the airline industry, living in San Diego, large families, Amsterdam and real estate law, to having kids, Idaho, parenthood and converting to Catholicism. The bartender even joined in, detailing his list of “100 Songs That Will Never Be Played At My Wedding”. Very fun!
