John and I are famous! Sort of. We’re pictured in the November issue of Shutterbug Magazine, accompanying an article written by our good friend Monte Zucker. His article was about the trip we took to Yucatan, Mexico, earlier in the year. When Monte was in Chicago doing a lecture last month, he excitedly pressed the magazine into my hands, saying “you’re famous!” It’s quite something to see a picture of yourself in a national magazine.
After a moment’s reflection, I thanked Monte for the honor and asked him, next time, if he could please crop everyone else out of the picture and put our studio name somewhere in bold in the article. He tousled my hair and said “easy, young man, you’re not THAT famous.” Good ol’ Monte.
