We loved loved loved working with Bekah Blaski, Aaron Grace and their families. Bekah and Aaron are living in Waco, Texas while Aaron is in school, but their families are all here in Chicago. We’d met with Bekah’s mother Cindy a few times and we knew we were going to have a blast!
Everyone was so easy to work with, and we really felt like members of the family. Aren’t all weddings supposed to go like this? We got loads of fantastic photographs during the day– from the Bridal Party getting ready at the church to the bouquet toss and dancing at the reception. We took so many great photos, selecting the best ones will be no easy task.
For the ceremony itself, Bekah and Aaron wrote their own vows. As they recited them, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Heartfelt, genuine pledges of love to each other, showing affection, respect and absolute commitment.
There were many special moments during the day, one of the most touching was that all four sets of grandparents attended the wedding and posed for pictures. What a wonderful moment for everyone to share, and what a testimony to their commitment. Someone figured that there were close to 320 years of combined marriage between all three generations!!
Certainly the funniest moment during the reception was when four Grace men stood up to give Aaron some male advice on marriage. The quartet suddenly broke out into a song which was as funny as it was well-performed. Entitled “Side by Side”, it described the love between a couple even as the wife falls apart (literally). Absolutely hilarious.
Thanks so much for letting us share your day with you! Bekah and Aaron, enjoy Acadia National Park. Your album is going to be beautiful. We’ll talk with you soon!
