Heading home
We had a fantastic time, but it’s always nice to be heading home. We’re up at the crack of dawn to fly to Mexico City on Mexicana, then on United to Chicago.
We took about 3000 photographs over the course of five days, and I can’t wait to get them sorted, retouched and in a proper album from Leathercraftsmen or ArtLeather.
It was very refreshing to be away from civilization for a week– no cellphones, no CNN, no internet. When we caught an English-news TV broadcast at the airport in Mexico City; the first thing we heard was about a serial killer in the Carolinas and some devastating earthquake somewhere. Welcome to the real world! Oh well, still time to grab a cerveza and some nachos!
